Teen model – downtown GreerMarch 5, 2014

Throughout the past couple of years we have met so many wonderful, photogenic couples and individuals through charity silent auctions. This session was also thanks to a charity event, The Chocolate Soiree of 2013. Paige was a complete natural in front of the camera and we thoroughly enjoyed photographing her for the start of her modeling career.

Enjoy some of our favorites from the session:

Meet Baby E – 6 days oldJanuary 19, 2014

Little baby E was the first newborn session of 2014. She was a dream to photograph, absolutely adorable and settled very quickly. She even allowed me to see her beautiful eyes on a couple of occasions. Enjoy this sampling from her portrait session:

A solider comes home!December 9, 2013

Meeting your baby for the first time is always an emotional experience, but meeting your baby and feeling like a father for the first time since being deployed to Afghanistan is beyond comprehension for most of us.

Rachael and Jon had their first child last month, but two nights ago Jon was able to hold his baby for the first time in the airport after stepping off the plane and I was honored to be the photographer to capture those moments between him and his wife.

Thank you for all you did for our country Jon! We are thrilled that you’re home safe and sound.

Enjoy the slideshow!

Baby A – One and a half days oldDecember 4, 2013

Many months were spent planning this sweet baby boy’s newborn portraits. The reason being is that I’m 600+ miles from the family’s home. This baby’s mom and I share a special friendship and have known each other over 15 years and I was going to do whatever it took to not only be there for her baby’s portraits, but also the birth!

After a week of keeping an eye on my friend’s belly for any signs of labor beginning, things got started and she had an overall easy birth. Baby A was able to come home after 24 hours and I had the sincere honor of photographing him at just a day and a half old.

While I have many favorites, including the intimate moments of the birth, here are a handful of my top loves! Enjoy!

This is just one of those sessions that was absolutely as peaceful and serene as the photos depict. I truly feel so honored for the opportunity to capture such a delicate time and for the beautiful people I meet along the way.

In Love – Malone & Jordan – A country engagement sessionOctober 17, 2013

We have another beautiful engagement session feature for you today! Malone and Jordan chose to do their engagement session on her family’s property, and after you see the pictures, you will know why! A gorgeous red antique truck was also acquired just for this session.

Jordan makes Malone light up instantly when he looks at her. And Malone sweetly convinced Jordan to go shirtless for part of the session. These two are such a sweet couple and we’re so excited for their wedding day next August.

Michelle and Jeff’s Wedding – Owen Pavilion at the Madren Center, ClemsonOctober 9, 2013

Michelle and Jeff aren’t Greenville residents but their ties to Tiger Town made South Carolina the ideal place for their nuptials last weekend. Michelle cheered for Clemson and they both attended the University. We loved seeing the tiger details sprinkled throughout the day, like Jeff’s cufflinks and the butter pats on each table at the reception.

We want to give a big thanks to this wonderful couple for being such joy to photograph! Seeing how in love you both are and how much you care for each other was inspiring and helped us create beautiful images, both before the wedding, and after the reception around Tillman Hall.

Check out the slideshow below for a complete look at Michelle and Jeff’s wedding day. Enjoy!

Elizabeth and Jay’s Wedding – Mt. Carmel Baptist Church & Green Valley Country ClubSeptember 19, 2013

When we first stepped outside on September 14th, Elizabeth and Jay’s wedding, we could feel a hint of fall in the air. It was the kind of weather any couple hopes for on their wedding day, the perfect temperature and not a cloud in the sky.

We’ve always told our couples that the attitude you start your wedding day with will determine how the day ends up. Elizabeth and Jay, and their lovely families, were so easy going that everything went smoothly and the bride and groom had time to relax before the ceremony. And to top it off, the entire bridal party was ready for photos not just on-time but early! Another big thanks to the Katie Cotton team for making each bridesmaid look stunning and working hard to stay on schedule.

To Elizabeth and Jay, thank you again for allowing us to capture not only your Engagement and Bridal Portraits, but wedding memories too. We were honored to be included in such a special time in your lives. And we hope every wedding we photograph from here on out has a planned “Gangnam Style” family jam!

Enjoy!

Stephanie & Brandon’s Engagement Portraits – Barn & FieldSeptember 4, 2013

Stephanie and Brandon are getting married at a beautiful venue called Lindsey Plantation in Taylors, SC next June. Because the feel of their wedding is outdoorsy and natural we wanted their engagement portraits to reflect that same style.

We always encourage couples to personalize their photo shoot by bringing along meaningful items. And Stephanie and Brandon brought along their adorable, and well behaved, dog as well as a Save the Date accessory and awesome piece of wall art! They coordinated their outfits to match the style of the session and she had her hair professionally styled. What more could photographers ask for?! This couple did everything just right and we love all of their images but chose some of the top favorites to share below. Enjoy!

Meet baby Claire – 6 days oldAugust 9, 2013

Sweet little Claire, just 6 days old, had the most gorgeous head of hair I’ve ever seen on a newborn. It was luscious! Needless to say I was thrilled to be photographing such a gorgeous baby. On her birthday she was 7 lb 8 oz and 19.5 inches long.

Here are some of my favorites from her studio portrait session:
